Our reason for being, as recorded in our constitution, is
• To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Pennyghael and environs without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, by associating with the Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
• To secure the establishment of a community centre and maintain and manage the centre for activities promoted by the Association, in furtherance of the above objects or any of them.
